Testing and detecting dead pixels on any LCD is very simple with IsMyLcdOK.
IsMyLcdOK is an application that lets you test your LCD monitor and see if there are blocked or dead pixels. When running the application in the main menu, a list of keyboard commands is displayed, running a color test, stress test, and a gradient test. After completing the test, you should be able to see any dead pixels.
IsMyLcdOK does not need to be installed on your computer, it's portable and can be saved on a small USB stick or other memory device.
