According to XDA-Developers, they played with the code of the first preview version of the Android 12 version. It seems that Googles future operating system was inspired by Apples iOS 14.

Last week, Google released the first preview version for Android 12. As you know, Google is very stingy in terms of new features, which delighted especially the most curious users who have fun digging in the Android code 12 to activate the hidden functions. Youll probably have to wait until May to discover all the new features of Android 12.

Google has implemented a stacked widget system like in iOS 14, and its possible to overlay one widget on top of another to save space on the home screen. By scrolling this stacked widget from right to left, we can switch from one widget to another.

Android 12 is expected to introduce a new widget manager. Aware of Apples success in this area, Google has decided to change the graphics of its operating system. The company will also launch new customization options to change its icons or lock screen.

In March and April, Google will release two more previews for Android 12. In May, June, July and August, four public versions are expected.
