TimeShift for Linux has similar functions as Windows Restore and for Mac, Time Machine, which saves users a lot of problems, providing a recovery point for the operating system in case of problems.

Timeshift Linux is a backup application for the Linux system. Backup is so precise with Timeshift that it can even copy installed or saved files to the Linux system.

We all know Linux is open source and we have full control over the operating system, but if we make a small mistake or execute a wrong command, then the operating system can be destroyed and therefore it is very essential to back up of your system as well as your files when working with Linux.

In conclusion, if you are having problems with your system or you have deleted a very important file, in both cases, you need to go to Restore Point, where Linux worked fine. In this case, choose the option to restore the snapshot from which the system needs to be restored.
