Krita for Linux is a very complex and easy to use graphic editor, it is similar to GIMP or Photoshop, which is the payable version.

Krita for Linux allows you to work with raster and vector images, canvas mirroring, different application modes, individual objects, etc. Also, like its two competitors, it uses the layer function, which allows you to create multiple layers in drawings, then you can combine them as you wish.
Also, the software features are suitable for retouching photos, reaching high levels of detail, as it allows the processing of images with a color depth of 8, 16 or 32 bits.
Krita for Linux offers the possibility of many formats for import and export: EXR, GIF, PBM, JPEG, PGM, PNG, PPM, PSD (Photoshop), TGA, TIFF, BMP etc.
Therefore, you can perform digital painting, image editing, but also for drawing.
In conclusion, Krita for Linux is a powerful and very complex software in terms of image composition, illustration creation or photo editing.
