Aladdin is developed by the Astronomical Data Center in Strasbourg, is specially designed for astronomy enthusiasts and allows you to view the maps of the sky.

It is a software that contains state-of-the-art scientific data, so users can view digitized images of the sky and explore the universe thanks to data recalculated on the principle of HiPS technology, it represents 250 TB of pixels.

Aladin for Linux is compatible with most existing standards and can be interconnected with other visualization and analysis tools, thus enabling it to be a powerful software for the exploration and integration of astronomical data widely used by the scientific astronomical community.
