Samsung is fully entering the laser projector market with a new family called The Premiere and an iconic model, the LSP9T.
The Korean manufacturer wanted to highlight one of its new products: LS9PT, a triple laser projector with an ultra short focal length. Capable of projecting a 3.3-meter image (or a 130-inch diagonal) by positioning a few inches from the wall, this projector is also the first to receive HDR10 + certification.
Specifically, Samsung announces a brightness of 2,800 lumens, which is extremely high for this type of product. The LSP9T is also equipped with a dual DVB-T / DVB-S tuner and an integrated audio system with Acoustic Beam technology.
Otherwise, the Samsung laser projector promises to work like any of the brands premium TVs, ie with a Tizen interface and all the usual connected features.
In other words, you will be able to take advantage of Bixby, Google Assistant and Alexa voice assistants, as well as AirPlay 2 compatibility.
In addition to this premium model, Samsung will also offer a more affordable version of its video projector. Called the LSP7T, it now has only one laser source and a 120-inch diagonal, but it looks identical in the rest of the data sheet.
LSP9T and LSP7T will be available at the end of the year at the respective prices of LS9PT $6499 and LSP7T $3499.
