CinemaX P2 a 4K laser projector with integrated soundbar from Optoma

The Optoma brand has announced the launch of a new ultra-short projector, called CinemaX P2 that promises a 4K UHD resolution and a projection of up to 120 inches.

The device provides a brightness of 3000 lumens. It is based on a laser projection that promises a 4K UHD resolution in a diagonal of about 3 meters at most and a contrast of 2,000,000: 1.

CinemaX P2 is also equipped with a built-in Dolby Digital sound bar, which has a power of 40W.

The device is finally HDR 10 compatible, a sign of the fight against competition. At the same time, Samsung has just announced the projector, The Premiere, which is presented as the first HDR 10+ compatible device in the world.



Therefore, the relatively compact CinemaX P2, with dimensions of 57.6 x 38.3 x 13 cm, must save space and weighs 11 kilograms and has three HDMI 2.0 ports, an RJ45 input and a USB-A port.

The device, which will be compatible with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and there will be a dedicated mode to improve the console player experience.

In terms of price, the US $ 3,299 is currently known.
